Trust

Tonight I had a prayer answered. It was so wonderful to be able to witness to the one person I had been praying for such a long time. When the timing is right things flow smoothly. That is always good.

Psalms 103:1-5 is such a beautiful promise to all who trust in Him. Many don't know his Word or how He works. He deals with all people with their welfare in mind.

When a human being comes to know The Lord of all, he will soon find out He is a God who can be trusted. Trusted with every aspect of their lives.

I am speaking about a trust that few know anything about. Even those who claim to be Christian. They say they trust but when push comes to shove, they haven't a clue.

True trust is giving one's self to a Being whom they have never seen. But the only way to know Him is through His Word and experience in the answers to our prayers.

I will give an example that is found in Amos, He says through the prophet Amos he will do nothing until He lets the Prophet know what he is about to do.

I recently heard a Minister preach on this very subject. He was telling the story of Lot in Sodom. How Abraham had a covenant relationship with God, that God said he could do nothing until he told Abraham that He was going to destroy Sodom for their wickedness. But Lot had no idea that it was imminent. The Scriptures say Lot was just, but did not know. So to have a covenant relationship is a relationship that trust God WHOLEHEARTEDLY. Like Caleb, trusting God WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

The story of Caleb began when the ten spies went into the promise land to spy out the people there. It was only Joshua and Caleb that returned with a good report. The other 8 said they were afraid of the giants there. But it says Caleb served God WHOLEHEARTEDLY. For his service to God, God gave him Hebron, along with all his descendants.

So the difference between Lot and Abraham was serving God WHOLEHEARTEDLY!

So friend, serve Him with everything in you and you will be rewarded with good things.

A Letter to All Americans

As a painter, I have always been intrigued with darkness and light. The difference is so amazing. It is almost like a person with duel identity. One minute you are filled with light and all that it entails and the other you are in a place that is mysterious and exciting. You bring in a light color and then it begins to make sense. You see the painting clearly. There are no doubts as to what the picture is.

You know that old saying, "Things are not always what they appear to be"

Americans have mostly enjoyed a great deal of freedoms ,since our Constitution. There have been many around the world less fortunate than we are. But our Lord, Jesus Christ , has warned that if we let go of His Hand, we would be in difficulty. And for some time with His patients, we have flourished.

But His patients has been put to the test and found wanting.

We see clearly that on the horizon a figure that is frightening, a figure that is tantalizing, not sure what or who it is. But never the less it is there. Are we to approach it calmly or with scrutiny? But no, there are those running to it gleefully. They will find out, but too late , they should have never approached it at all.

It is the Evil of all civilizations, who have approached it willingly. It is a mystery shrouded in intrigue, ready to take all who even get close. Like a death star in the earth, gobbling up all who are sucked in.

By now I suppose you know what I am talking about. If you thought Marxism, you would be right.

So Americans, my letter is to you. Will you approach this tall dark stranger, looking so good? Or will you add His Light?
