II Peter 1 is one of my favorite passages.
Being moved by The Holy Ghost to write about Holiness is a wonderful experience. One needs to be where He is to truly understand. There is such dept of Love from such a beautiful being. He woos us into seeing things the way He sees things and bringing us to a realization of His Love for an individual.
I have been in training for 43 years and there is so much more to learn. If I lived many life times, I would still
be a child.
I have come across many people that are so needy. Needy for virtually everything pertaining to life. But the one thing, as I see it, that is the most important is Holiness. Many claim Him but there is no Holiness there.
His Lordship must be ever present in their hearts.
So much is going on these days in our sad ,tired world that very few see Him when He beckons to us or when His still small voice cries out to us.
There is knowledge that is so  beyond our tiny little brains. We can only acquire knowledge of Him thru Holiness, prayer and dedication to His Word. As Paul said, he dies daily.
If I had a group of people to tell all I have learned thru the years it would be, asking The Lord to help me die to myself and love Him more and others. This is so fundamental to being a true believer in Christ. Jeremiah said it best,"Look for the old paths and walk ye in it."  Meaning, study The Old and New Testaments for The Truth of the ages. Forget what you were taught, either in your church or your home. It is obedience to His Words that transform our DNA!  For you see, He is our TREE OF LIFE, we must eat of His Tree, The Scriptures.
You want to follow Christ ,but you find you have failed so many times and are discouraged?  You have not died to the sin nature that resides within your heart and mind. You have not sold out to Him!  Do not deceive yourself in thinking you have.

The Journey Toward Holy Light!

This passed month I have had a great sense of The Awe of Holiness., as tho I was being drawn to a depth I know little about. Being humbled even more.
I picked up a book by J.I Packer, called "The Quest For Godliness." As I read about Johnathan Edwards in chapter 19, where he preached on I Corinthians 1: 29 -31, I realized that he was speaking the same thing  The Lord was trying to reveal to me.
The journey to The Light comes as others pray for us and The Holy Spirit joins in the battle to the saving of our soul,then when the new birth brings us into The kingdom of His Dear Son, washed and The divine seed is planted we begin our journey toward The Holy Light! That journey never ends and is changing us from Glory to Glory. As we grow in His Grace we often stumble and fall. We learn to pick our selves up and ask for forgiveness . Forgiving ourselves might be the hardest thing for us. But then in time we want not to fail as we see the diminstration of His Love toward us. The generosity of His love that breaks us and leads us to an ever increasing hunger to be as He is.
As we journey on He will give us a great awe of what Holiness is. As we continue to die daily we are being made more and more into His Image, and what a thing of beauty It Is!
So continue on dear Saint of God, fight the good fight of Faith, don't give up.

Is it possible to get back that which we have lost as a nation?  In my opinion, NO!  Why not, one might ask?  Because in The Book of Jonah, we are told that all of Nineveh repented. From the king to the least in the city. They fasted, even the animals neither eat or drank anything.  So do you think that The Lord of Glory will repent of the evil that is on it's way to America , while we neither repent, fast or pray ,from Obama to the least in our nation? Personally ,I can't see 330,000,000 people falling on their faces, fasting , repenting , and praying for The Lord to forgive them of their evil ways.
Could I be wrong , of course. But it would be like going to Las Vagas and exspecting to win millions. Christians like to quote 2 Chronicles 7:14. But since so much sin has entered the church, do you think that  from the least to the greatest will fast and repent and pray?  I DO NOT!
Nineveh is the example set before us.
 So if I am right about our demise, what are we to expect? Catastrope!
Nothing less! The dollar will tumble, the stock market will crash and all of us will be left with the ash!
So what is a poor Christian to do? Fall on your face and cry to The Lord for judgement, mercy and faith.
Judgement of our sins, mercy on our souls and faith that He will hear us and spare us.
How many Christians do you know who fast and pray for the hard things?
There is an old saying," We deserve what we get". Since so many voted for an evil president, we are now getting what we deserve. When we voted for evil we voted  against Good!  We voted for evil man and not The Goodness of God! It is that simple.
May God have mercy on us.
When The Lord saw down through time that man would wax worse and worse He used it for a plan to bring about the end of time for man. Now we wait for the bombs to fall and the anti-christ to move against Israel. Because the only thing keeping satan from moving against Israel ,IS AMERICA!

What must The Angels Think?

Looking down on this sad old world, what must the angels think? Seeing our pitiful selves as they view us what must the angels think? Dear Lord we are so wretched indeed, if only we had holiness as they, what would the angels think? Holy, holy, holy cries the angels in His presence. Let all the earth keep silent before Him. the darkness is here all around the earth, what must the angels think? So much chatter everywhere, but not the words we need. We need to keep silent to see and hear His holy presences. We must lay our eyes upon His Word, day and night. Our hearts should cry, Holy Is The Lamb of God! When did you cry out to The Lord for a need and He did not fill it? Holy,Holy,Holy is God Almighty. He is coming in Great Power to judge. Holy, Holy, Holy! Your only need is to cry, Holy, Holy, Holy! Worship Him all ye host! Holy, Holy, Holy!
