The Importance of Psalm 139!

As I was studying 1Samuel with a study group, the Question arose,"why couldn't we see that Saul was doomed after his disobedience to The Lord?" After all Saul was obedient at the first.

Psalm 139 popped into my head. Because The Lord knew Saul from the very beginning. He knows what we are made of before we know it ourselves, even tho Saul was obedient at the first.

The passed few months Psalm 139 keeps coming up either in a conversation or a thought. I can't seem to move on. But it appears to me to be so important, that I can't escape it's teaching. Very significant.

Just last week my thoughts remembered what it says about how he knows my every thought.

Two years ago in July, I was putting on my make-up to go to my cancer check up, when out of the blue The Lord spoke these words to me," My thoughts toward you are more in number than the sand."

I have lived on His Word for 2 years now. It is wonderful when He speaks to me. All my fears relieved.

Resting in that I find such peace. So many have no rest or peace, that's why I witness as often as I do.

I am learning to put all my trust in Him, and lean not to my own understanding, Proverbs 3:5.

Fools!

As I was taking a trip over the Easter week-end, my son and I were having a discussion on how stupid  people are. That sounds harsh, I know. But even God talks about fools. Not those with a disability, but those who are hard headed and stubborn to the core. Those refusing to even consider that they are wrong and need guidance.

Proverbs 27:22 says that even if you were to put a fool in a morter and grind him with a pestal and add a little Wheat to make him or her better, he still would be a fool and do foolish things. Pitiful!

God's words are so powerful and It cuts to the chase, that we all are layed bare before Him. Hebrews 4:12 tells us even to the dividing of soul and spirit.

I say all this to say,"My heart cries before Him, help us dear Lord, we are desperate for your wisdom and knowledge and mercy.

I have lived a long time and have never seen things as bad as they are in America and around this planet.

Where are you Lord, when will you come, our hearts are so undone.

Waiting for your blessed hope and appearing we wait with great expectancy

Please dear Lord hear our cry

Come quickly open the sky and take us home

For we belong to Him that sits on The throne.

I Stand in The Presence of God, In The mist of The Thorns

Love, love such wondrous Love. As I listened to a youtube video of Barbara O Neill, giving her lecture on mental health , I started to cry. I remembered the parabel of The Sower, who sowed seed by the wayside. Some fell among the thorns. She was telling the audience how repetition is the mother of retention. The more you repeat a thing in your mind the more it deepens the impression. It will cause actual thorns to grow on the dyndrites of cells in your brain.

Earlier this morning I was listening to Alistair Beeg on Luke 1: 19 Gabriel, had been despatched to Zacharias, the priest ,to tell him he was going to be a father. Zacharias didnot believe, so Gabriel struck him dumb until the child was born.

Gabriel said," I stand in The presence of God."  This is where all need to be. I cried for some time.

In this hour of humanity, we must be prepared by The Holy Spirit to enter His presence.

Many will not be able to stand in His awesome presence because they refused His invitation to do so. They refuse The cleansing Power of His Blood.

Zacarias and his wife Elizebeth were both righteous before God. Yet Zacarias didnot believe Gabriel.

This is a powerful statement that was made. I have cried for hours, Then as I listened to Barbara give her lecture it hit me. The damage that was done when Adam sinned was even more powerful than, anything we could image. Just trying to wrap that around my mind was so profound that all I have been doing for hours is cry.

The cautionary tail to all this is, Zahcarias was righteous! If this doesn't put The Fear of God in us, what will?

So as I see Gabriel, standing in The Presence of God, in the mist of Thorns, I pray,

Please father, have mercy on me and my family.

Betrayal Is Never Fun

The Lord has kept me very busy these passed months. He took me seriously , when I said to Him," Give me souls , or I die"

I have been about Father's business, in my life. Checking all the areas in which I am deficient. Asking Him to point out what is in need of fixing. It wasn't long before The Holy Spirit answered. That old saying, be careful what you wish for, has away of coming out.

What I have found out was so amazing. Those people in my life, whom I loved the most, Were the ones whom I never thought would hurt me. But, behind the seen, where I could not see or know, lurked evil. I questioned myself, as to why didn't I see this. Blinded by faith in people that I thought loved me and wanted only good for me. Not testing their spirits, to see what I should have seen.

We all need eyes of discernment. My problem was blind faith in people, I loved.

That Scripture," Depart from me, I never knew you", that Christ utters when he returns, I now know what He meant.  Thinking you know someone and all the while you really were far from understanding, what The Holy Spirit knew all along.

He alone can repair a broken heart, keeping it from shattering into small pieces and not able to repair it yourself.

So many people in our tired old world are suffering each day, some being tortured, some slain, some sold into the sex trade, children dieing for lack of food because a government gone awry that is unable to meet the needs of the people due to drought and crop failure.

But there is Jesus, The Son of The Most High God.

He alone can repair a heart that has been betrayed.

Betrayal is never fun, it leaves your heart so undone

No sleep, no rest it leaves your heart, within your chest

longing for peaceful, peaceful rest

Betrayal Is Never Fun.

Oh to God my heart does cry, mend this broken heart of mine

Betrayal Is Never Fun.

His Crowning Glory?

The other day I was talking to a friend about how much God loves us. As I was speaking the thought came to me about how man was God's crowning glory. I know it wasn't me. After a few days went by, I was mulling over the conversation we had. I remembered that statement and it was a light bulb moment.

I think this was an answer to a question I had for years. Why did God our creator come in the form of a man to die for our sins and redeem us. We know He loves us and we also know He created us in His image. But the piece that was missing for me was why? There had to be more to this, I thought.

It all seemed to fall in place with that one simple statement. Was I right or was this just some thought I had?

God's crowning Glory? I am still in the early stages of pondering this profound thought. if it is true then I understand even more about why. As I was in thought the Scripture popped into my mind, John 8: 32. "Know the truth and the truth will set you free." Needless to say everywhere I turned and heard some minister speak this same Scripture. like bread crumbs I am following to find His Truth not my own.

Could it be we are His crowning achievement? I really am not sure. This is not to say, we are a great creation as we are now. The new birth is this great crowning achievement. So to put it into perspective, not only did He create a perfect human , in Adam, but even more He created away to save us when we fell from Grace in the garden. So by Grace we are saved, through our faith in Him, not of works, less any man should boast. Ephesians 2: 8-9.

If not His crowning Glory, then what is?

Trust

Tonight I had a prayer answered. It was so wonderful to be able to witness to the one person I had been praying for such a long time. When the timing is right things flow smoothly. That is always good.

Psalms 103:1-5 is such a beautiful promise to all who trust in Him. Many don't know his Word or how He works. He deals with all people with their welfare in mind.

When a human being comes to know The Lord of all, he will soon find out He is a God who can be trusted. Trusted with every aspect of their lives.

I am speaking about a trust that few know anything about. Even those who claim to be Christian. They say they trust but when push comes to shove, they haven't a clue.

True trust is giving one's self to a Being whom they have never seen. But the only way to know Him is through His Word and experience in the answers to our prayers.

I will give an example that is found in Amos, He says through the prophet Amos he will do nothing until He lets the Prophet know what he is about to do.

I recently heard a Minister preach on this very subject. He was telling the story of Lot in Sodom. How Abraham had a covenant relationship with God, that God said he could do nothing until he told Abraham that He was going to destroy Sodom for their wickedness. But Lot had no idea that it was imminent. The Scriptures say Lot was just, but did not know. So to have a covenant relationship is a relationship that trust God WHOLEHEARTEDLY. Like Caleb, trusting God WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

The story of Caleb began when the ten spies went into the promise land to spy out the people there. It was only Joshua and Caleb that returned with a good report. The other 8 said they were afraid of the giants there. But it says Caleb served God WHOLEHEARTEDLY. For his service to God, God gave him Hebron, along with all his descendants.

So the difference between Lot and Abraham was serving God WHOLEHEARTEDLY!

So friend, serve Him with everything in you and you will be rewarded with good things.

A Letter to All Americans

As a painter, I have always been intrigued with darkness and light. The difference is so amazing. It is almost like a person with duel identity. One minute you are filled with light and all that it entails and the other you are in a place that is mysterious and exciting. You bring in a light color and then it begins to make sense. You see the painting clearly. There are no doubts as to what the picture is.

You know that old saying, "Things are not always what they appear to be"

Americans have mostly enjoyed a great deal of freedoms ,since our Constitution. There have been many around the world less fortunate than we are. But our Lord, Jesus Christ , has warned that if we let go of His Hand, we would be in difficulty. And for some time with His patients, we have flourished.

But His patients has been put to the test and found wanting.

We see clearly that on the horizon a figure that is frightening, a figure that is tantalizing, not sure what or who it is. But never the less it is there. Are we to approach it calmly or with scrutiny? But no, there are those running to it gleefully. They will find out, but too late , they should have never approached it at all.

It is the Evil of all civilizations, who have approached it willingly. It is a mystery shrouded in intrigue, ready to take all who even get close. Like a death star in the earth, gobbling up all who are sucked in.

By now I suppose you know what I am talking about. If you thought Marxism, you would be right.

So Americans, my letter is to you. Will you approach this tall dark stranger, looking so good? Or will you add His Light?
